Well, it is safe to say that a bus stop blocking the front door of someone’s house is a bit of a construction fail. Despite the improved public transport links.

The house, located in Nottingham, is currently up for sale at the moment for £140,000. However, anyone who buys the house wouldn’t actually be able to get out of their property without climbing over a fence. Plus, passerby’s on the bus would have a pretty clear view into the bedroom window.

A local business manager, who lives nearby, captured a picture of the hilarious building fail and put it on Facebook. Julie Newing described to the Nottingham Post: “I noticed it a couple of days ago and couldn’t believe my eyes.”

“The bus stop is part of the main bus route from Derby to Nottingham and it is still in use.”

“It’s hysterical because anyone living in that house wouldn’t even be able to catch a bus because the shelter blocks their path.”

“When there’s so much rubbish in the world going off in the world, you need this sort of thing to brighten your day.”

A spokesperson from Burchell Edwards, the company selling the home, stated: “it is in the process of being moved.”

“At the minute we only have keys for the back so people are viewing the property through the back entrance.”

“As we say, the bus shelter will be moved.”
