Ever dreamed of having your own bar? But just don’t have the space for it? Well, we’ve got you covered with this how-to on how to make your very own petrol can mini bar.
The best mini bar you could create, you can store your favourite drinks in a cool piece that is for sure a conversation starter with the mates. So, here’s a step by step guide on how to make your very own petrol can mini bar.
First, the door needs to be cut. Using masking tape to draw on the can, use a smaller cutter on the shorter sections.
Then, attach the hinges. Make sure you put them on the body of the can first though! And, remember to cover those sharp edges too before connecting the hinges to the door. Then, attach the lock.
Moving on to the inside of the piece, you’ll want to plane the wood next and cut it to length. Then, shape the base. Making a cardboard template of the cans base will help with this section. After doing this, biscuit join the can holder and glue together.
Next, you need to sand a cut-out. This will make it a lot easier to get the cans out of the holder. Then you need to oil the wood before glueing it to the base. Finally, attach the can holder to the inside of the petrol can and voila, you have your very own petrol can mini bar. All you need to do now is stock it with your favourite drinks!
