The On The Tools Awards are back again with plenty of chances to win some great awards. And, it’s time for you lot to have your say and decide on our ‘Plasterer of the Year’. With two fantastic shortlisted tradespeople, this is going to be a tough one to choose between this year.

But, who is on the shortlist?

First up we have Matt Bollard.

Working in both external and internal plastering and rendering, Matt upholds an outstanding reputation. Along with his team, they all pride themselves on their exemplary finishes. Not only that but with almost 20 years in the trade, his experience and brilliant project management, isn’t it about time he won an award?

Matt added: “I’ve been in the plastering trade for nearly 18 years and couldn’t be more passionate about my trade.”

“I have complete pride in my work, with extensive attention to detail and complete customer satisfaction.”

“Being shortlisted for On The Tools ‘Plasterer of the Year’ really is an honour and I couldn’t be prouder of what we have all achieved.”

A great nominee. But, competing against him is another incredible plasterer.

Introducing… Aaron Pearson.

Not only is Aaron a great plasterer, but he also does a lot of work for others too. Specifically, those with disabilities. In conjunction with the charity ‘Autism No More’, he has already created 2 sensory spaces for disabled children to enjoy. Not only that, but he continues to work with them maintaining the upkeep of their spaces too. He also does a variety of fundraising work for the charity as well including donating raffle prizes and running the great south run.

Aaron added: “Hi, I’m Aaron Pearson.”

“My company is Titanium Plastering Ltd., and I have been plastering for over 15 years.”

“I am a British Gypsum certified plasterer and one of the 2018 trade heroes for my community project, helping children with autism.”

“I feel very privileged to be nominated for On the Tools and winning would mean the world to me!”
