For many tradesmen, their tools are their livelihood. Without them, they’re unable to get their work done. And without work, they can’t bring in any money to pay the bills. Therefore, with the ever increasing number of tool thefts, a lot of tradesmen are going the extra mile to keep their tools safe. Whether that’s getting after market security for their vans or carting their gear into the house every night.

But it’s not all doom and gloom though. A tradesman’s tools can also provide entertainment on site. So, we decided to put together a few of our favourite alternative we’ve seen for the tools and materials tradesmen can find on site.

10. No tin opener? No problem!

9. The big boy version of Jenga!

8. Who needs a knife when you’ve got a trowel?

7. Keeping yourself cool in the summer.

6. Cooking on the go!

5. Going on the McDonald’s run.

4. No bowl? Time to bring out the hard hat!

3. Showing off in front of the lads!

2. Cooling down after a long day in the sun.
