An unfortunate tradesman recently took a trip to A&E after he managed to get his penis stuck in a spanner. Very vague about how he got it there, he claimed it happened “by accident”.
After getting his genitals stuck in the tool, he swiftly checked himself into hospital. However, unfortunately, the doctors and nurses were unable to free the man’s penis from the spanner. Consequently, they were forced to call in the fire brigade for their help.
Arriving at Royal Gwent Hospital, the two fire crews set to work on freeing the tradesman. Finally, they were able to free the worker’s genitals using specialist cutting equipment. The spokesperson for the fire service described that the man had “taken tightening nuts to a new level.”
South Wales Fire and Rescue added in a tweet: “If you’re using tools, make sure you’re handling as the manufacturer recommends.”
“Crews from Maindee and Malpas had to release a steel ring spanner from a man who took tightening nuts to a new level earlier.”
This tweet was soon deleted though as it was deemed in “poor taste”. A few thousand people managed to get a retweet in there first though!
The Sun reported that a source at the hospital described the experience with the unlucky tradesman. They stated: “He was assessed at Accident and Emergency on Wednesday morning before we had to call firefighters.”
“He was very vague about how the spanner became stuck, saying it was ‘an accident’.”
“However once he was freed he was very embarrassed but otherwise unhurt.”
