The On The Tools awards are back again for another year. And, today, we need your help in deciding who should win our ‘Labourer of the Year’ award, sponsored by Isuzu.
A ceremony dedicated to honouring the UK’s tradespeople, we ask you, the boots on the ground to choose our winners. So, let’s meet our shortlist…
First up we have labourer Stacy Straw.
Stacy has been described as a friendly team player, respected grafter and a true friend.
In fact, nothing is ever too much for him and he is eager to learn and develop. Not only that, but he is also very passionate about helping the next generation to get on board with the industry too and jumps at every opportunity to promote the industry.
Described as incredibly modest as well his nominator feels he would be very deserving of this award.
Also joining Stacy on the shortlist is labourer Stephen Jones.
Unfortunately, we couldn’t get ahold of an image for Stephen but don’t let that put you off!
Going above and beyond for his customers and the companies he subcontracts, no job is ever too much for Stephen. Working from 7 am to 7 pm, 6 days a week, and this is outside of when he gets called out to help customers. But, no matter what, he does this without a thought for himself.
Described as an honest, loyal and trustworthy businessman, he works all day every day to ensure everything in his business is perfect.
